One new Fellow noted, “Fortunately, there are organizations like the Rumsfeld Foundation that recognize the need to invest in public servants who are devoted to charting a firmer course, and that provide the common ground where a community of like-minded individuals can gather to compare their disparate experiences with the common goal of service in mind.”
As the program enters its 16th academic year this fall and welcomes the incoming 2024 Fellows, the Graduate Fellowship Network will consist of an impressive collection of 214 rising public service leaders, as well as 20 distinguished program Advisers located at universities across the country who serve as nominators and mentors.
Over 75% of alumni of the Graduate Fellowship Program are currently serving in public service or policy fields, including in a wide variety of capacities in the Departments of Defense, State and Treasury, the U.S. military, U.S. Congress, state and local government, policy and research centers, academia and more.
