Along with awarding Fellowship grants, the Foundation is pleased to provide additional opportunities for these service-oriented young leaders by hosting various events throughout the year for further network engagement, to include receptions, retreats, guest speakers and an annual fall conference in Washington, D.C.

One recently selected 2019-20 Fellow noted, “The benefit of the Rumsfeld Fellowship network is twofold. First, it would assist me in continuing my advanced education in the intelligence field, giving me an upper hand when I begin as a career professional. Second, it will give me the opportunity to create and build long term relationships with others involved in public service. It would be a great resource to have another outlet to exchange ideas and experiences with others working for the U.S. government.”
