Washington, D.C. — The Rumsfeld Foundation is pleased to release an annual report outlining developments and activities from the past year. Download the full report here: 2016 Annual Report
"As we approach 10 years since the Foundation's establishment we are dedicated to our current focus areas - Public Service and Greater Central Asia. These areas include our Fellowship Programs and encouraging the networks that have developed among the impressive leaders who comprise them, as well as our support of a number of top-rate military charities that assist the men and women of our nation's Armed Forces, veterans and their families. As we advance the Foundation's programs, our mission to encourage leadership, public service and free systems remains at the core of our efforts." - Don Rumsfeld
Throughout 2016...
Toward encouraging and honoring public service, we provided Fellowships to 20 aspiring public servants for their graduate education, and made grants, in partnership with the Rumsfeld Family Fund, totaling over $537,000 to more than 25 military charities working to support our troops, veterans and their families.
To assist the important region of Greater Central Asia, we welcomed 23 Central Asia-Caucasus Fellows to our Fellowship Program and growing alumni network, and co-hosted the 2016 CAMCA Regional Forum in Tbilisi, Georgia for leaders and professionals engaged in the region.
